Marcy Bean

Marcy has over two decades of experience designing places where people engage with natural resources. Passionate about integrating green infrastructure into public spaces, Marcy works on projects ranging from master planning and stakeholder facilitation to placemaking and park design—all through a natural-resources lens.  She has broad experience in the design of innovative stormwater management systems, specializing in stacking infrastructure to meet multiple project goals. Her projects often involve ecosystem restoration, stormwater BMP design, inspections, and maintenance. Prior to joining Barr, Marcy managed capital projects and supported community-based efforts to manage stormwater at the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization.
